what the World Cup Final means to me.

it means the guys from English College (renamed Maktab Sultan Abu Bakar but we never got used to it) in JB are getting together.

i missed out on the football match which was held on friday. at the last reunion, we had it on a saturday but this time the field was to be used for a prior event. however, that didn't lessen the delight i enjoyed in the company of the guys.

we drank & sang.......

we ate...

& then we ate some more.....

i think guys in general just love hanging out together....

the FIFA World Cup Final is just an excuse.

(snigger!)

it's true.. guys just love hanging out together, talking all the macho talk. Pointless talk too doesn't matter. Just yak only. And any excuse is a good excuse! LOL!

I agree that most guys like to bond during sporting events.

Mei Teng,

guys like to bond anytime, even during work, so the sports events are just excuses to do so!

It's always wonderful to be able to gather and meet up after some years. So much to yak about and so much to compare - the tummies and the baldness! whahaha...

We ladies too compare - on our weight and beauty! haha...

are all these men doctors ? - curious .........

Ilene,

it's always nice to catch up & compare changes in our lives, esp so if someone has done extremely well. one of us has grown so "wide" even his XL-sized shirt looks tight!

UG,

no, none of them are in the medical field. we are a mixed bunch - accountant, technology officer, seed inspector, bank executive, corporate director, businessmen, pub manager, etc.

variety is the spice of life, isn't it?

we cant do anything abt our baldness but tummies yes :)

exercise n diet is good medical insurance :)

have a nice day doc :)

Beng,

to get better insurance coverage, may need to change to a less stressful job, if there is one!

some people still try to stem the loss of hair. i think it's a losing battle, because wigs don't count!

have a nice day!
