back home.

just got back. lots of photos to go thru - 4G plus! will post some in due time. a brief prelude though:

1) food is EXPENSIVE, even compared to KL;

2) you definitely can't do disneyland in ONE day, and;

3) we're NOT that much different from them.

You can do disneyland in a day if you use the priority ticket with selected rides ... I been thru with Disneyland @ California during summer and 50th anniversary celebration...

Welcome back! Ya...everything's expensive. Went to Tokyo Disneyland many many years ago...already VERY expensive then but it was worth it - the feeling being there, in a fantasy world of singing and dancing and lots of laughter and happy faces...and yes, one day is definitely not enough.

Ah DOC so it was the Hong Kong one you went to. All narrations in Cantonese! A tiring but precious moments with family. Welcome home! Can't wait for your pics and story. ;)

Ilene,

thanks. i get by with a smattering of cantonese, so it wasn't totally alien to me.

We are not that much different from who? The disney characters? Or the hongkongers??

Jo,

the HKers, in many ways.

Welcome home! And I know soon it will be sending darling daughter to the SingLand! Oop...I could be a little cruel to talk about it while the welcoming is still fresh..

I would also be saying goodbye to my friends in KK and moving on to Kuching, the city nearer to home.

Will be spending Christmas in KK with family this year. The thing I would miss is the Christmas Cantata of the church choir - the place where I spent my young days and once every year on Christmas!

Yan,

thanks. christmas will never be christmas without the family.

yes, the darling daughter will fly the nest soon, but then, how else will she learn to soar on her own?? will appreciate your prayer. thanks again.
