isn't it typical?
last year, science/maths in english, then in bahasa.
muslims can't attend black eyed peas concert, then allowed.
planned to filter internet, then backtracked under public pressure.
last week, government doctors service to extend 5 - 10 years, then announced tonite maybe it'll be reduced to 4 years?
we malaysians are a confused lot, aren't we? no wonder we're not only not going forward, we've even regressed!

ya, we are so used to the flip-flop ness of the Malaysian Government for one... today this, tomorrow that,,,,,,,,,,
i hope they have foresight.
you have a great week ahead doc, and god bless
Eugene,
looks like we need to live one day at a time, for we know not what tomorrow brings.
have a good week yourself!
agree ith you Doc 101% - unstable mind & unstable politics !
Too many cooks spoil the soup.
Unicorn Girl,
looks like we have to grit our teeth & bear it....till the next GE.
Iml,
the soup really tastes terrible!!
Indecisiveness.
It is precisely because of this flip flop attitude that many serious investors are avoiding investing in the Iskandar region. They don't want to take chances with their investments being subject to one set of rules replacing another.
Big SIGH! What else can I say that's not already been said? Malaysia Boleh!!!
Mei Teng,
unfortunately, he who hesitates is lost.
Fishtail,
probably true, but i overheard the comment that there is so much s'porean investment in Iskandar that it's more a part of s'pore than johore when complete.
Jo,
we shall all speak with our votes at GE13.
have you & hubby registered?
for now i am atleast blind folded with wats going on outside the college...
wats more imp to me i felt now is college's rule with is extremely ridiculous till at times i just feel like quiting due to the crazy rules and regulations..
Mich,
in Rome, do as the romans do. the rules & regulations are there for a reason. is not getting training as a nurse more important than going against the rules, no matter how crazy they are?
extending it will be the ultimate signal to all overseas doctor... telling them not to come back.
Zewt,
i can tell you that they are already planning on NOT coming home, regardless of the current or amended policies.
even the JPA scholars, who sign agreements to return to serve, are finding all sorts of excuses to delay the return.
the twist is that countries like UK & Aust have changed their immigration policies to reduce the number of foreign doctors taking up jobs in their hosps.
however, it's still open season in the US, HK & s'pore.
