To you, she will always be your little girl no matter how old she is. :)

she's leaving for studies in NZ today.

I can imagine that was how my dad felt when all three of us daughters left the nest one after another, for studies overseas.

only when your own has left the nest can you really emphatise with your dad.
it's a recurring theme these days.
