remember i mentioned my 4-plus-yr-old digicam failed on my recent vacation? well, i finally got down to getting a replacement today. i don't ask for much, so this is what i got....
it's not just the 9.1MP with Leica lens plus 10X optical zoom & wide-angle capabilities that impressed me.....
.....it's also a whole host of anti-blurr, anti-shake & anti-red eyes thrown in as well. actually, my personal preference would have been a dSLR but since the family needed to use one as well, i settled for a compact. my daughter wanted a sony T2, in pink of course, so this is somewhat a compromise.
but she said she wouldn't be caught carrying this (humongous) case.
hmm....doesn't she know that while in Rome, do as the Romans do??
PS. i needed a camera as i will be going for our annual pilgrimage to the orang asli settlements this weekend.

I thought .... er... it's a new bundle of joy to the family!
Anyway, that sounds like it from your description!
Looking forward to some great artistic photographs!!!
Yan,
the new bundle of joy should be a grandchild - but that's not due for some time.
Iml,
ha ha, there's a reason why these are called idiot cameras, you know!!
*drools*
Waiting for the awesome shots from your new camera eh!... :-)
Anastasia,
i assume you meant the camera?
TZ,
i think "awesome" will be an over-statement, but after having used it over the weekend, i'm impressed with it.
If not, your daughter ah?
lol.
Me likey pretty gadgets. Man... what I would give to carry that with me everywhere I go just to show it off. Hehe.
Anastasia,
oooh...should i be worried then?
can always get one yourself - probably under SGD500 in orchard rd.
That is a pretty decent camera! May it bring you lots of happiness. Hehe.
:D
Have fun with your new camera, Doc! (but a DSLR would have been really really nice :) )
hey Kyels,
it is pretty, isn't it? & i'm impressed with it when i took it on the medical mission last weekend. will be posting about it soon.
hey Fibrate,
a dSLR would be fab but have to compromise lah!
