the girl came back from cambodia yesterday. since i finished work a bit early today, i took a "short drive" down to the Little Red Dot to catch up with her.
we just had enough time for a steak dinner....
and some ice-cream after that.
& i told her - i missed her when she was away.

You told her you missed her? How nice, but very 'unchinese'! She's so lucky. My mum never tells me that. But I know from her action she loves me a lot.
and u didnt call me...
Hello Kitty,
my late father was a man of few words but, like your mum, his actions showed that he loved us. i just chose to be different - to both tell AND show my 2 kids that i love them.
my daughter, when at home, still kisses me goodnite - that's also an "unchinese" gesture, but to me, a priceless one!!
ah, Zewt!
i offer no excuses except that i only had time for a meal & ice-cream.
rain check, ok?
She made it home! Yay!
Her friends and friends of friends might stumble onto this post someday, recognize her photo and say to her, 'pssst... do u know your dad blogs?' Hehehe...
Your daughter does not look little, leh.
lucky girl... i use to kiss daddy and mummy good night.. but as i grow i tend to be shy.. :P how i wish i still can kiss them good night...
LX,
my exact sentiment - YAY!
Yvonne,
she knows i blog but the irony is that she doesn't read. perhaps she felt uneasy as she knows i occasionally post about her. she's basically very shy.
Mich,
i hope she doesn't outgrow it because once she stops, it's difficult to get back to it.
If my parent posted such "unglam shots" of me on their blog, I would be uneasy too! Please take nicer photos of her (you have a good camera). We're girls, it matters to us.
;)
Anastasia,
ha ha, such "unglam shots" came about because she didn't want to look straight at the camera, which by the way, was the old aim-&-shoot one.
the ones taken with the dSLR will be posted later.
sure!
she will always be daddy's little girl......how sweet :)
UG,
yes, she always will be.
;)
