you couldn't have missed it - it was the wedding of the year, maybe of the decade or the century. it was televised on both free-to-air and satellite TV & the media screamed its headlines.
so here's our english lesson....
what's the difference between complete and finished?
when you marry the right one, you are COMPLETE.
when you marry the wrong one, you are FINISHED.
AND when the "right one" catches you with the "wrong one," you are COMPLETELY FINISHED!!
so, i wonder what the outcome will be when you refuse to vow obedience.....

It all depends on the groom on how he wants to accept it :)
some like it hot
some like it cold
some like it in the pot
forever OLD !
Haha...i like your definition of the difference btw complete and finished.
I heard she doesnt want the vow "obey" there, right?
I missed it! :(
doc, i think there are many of us who married someone who is neither right nor wrong, and we exist somewhere between the scale of 'complete' and 'finished'.
love the wedding though. perfect gown, perfect bride and perfect bridegroom, short of his "Mediteranean Sea" at 29!!
UG,
we'll just have to see how things turn out.
Mei Teng,
it does make sense, doesn't it?
Claire,
this "obey“ vow is man-made, but modern brides seem to think it's obsolete.
SAHM,
were there no repeats on cable TV? it should be in youtube by now.
House-Tai,
that's one way of looking at it. i'm more inclined to believe that most of us married the right person, but some take more effort to make it work than others.
the male pattern baldness seemed to run in the family.
