Doc,
The katong laksa.. is this the one with the crab meat? The sambal goreng on the laksa looks mean..best!!! Now, you have me hankering for Spore laksa lemak. Maybe I should cook this for dinner tonight :D

Ohh.. so that's where PSY went for his Gangnam show bcoz there were rumours initially that he was going to perform with J.Lo who had her concert last weekend in KL. I guessed after seeing how cringe-worthy things were with Madonna and PSY doing the Gangnam recently, wise old Jenny from the Block decided that her brand of dangdut gelek was a better crowd puller. LOL

Andrea,

if there was crab meat, i must have missed it. as with most "the best" food, probably the expectation exceeded the actual quality, so i wasn't that impressed. the sambal was good, though.

PSY was in town & i didn't realise it till i read the papers. apparently, he gave a free open-air concert with a few other korean artistes. oh yes, Madonna is already washed-out while J.Lo can certainly hold her own.

Long time i have not been to Singapore.

The last time i went was during Christams time. A lot of people around the shopping area.

S.kucing,

perhaps that's the biggest attraction in S'pore during christmas.

welcome to singapore.Hope you helped support our economy. Did you go visit our latest attraction: The 2 pandas kai kai and jia jia?
BTW - Katong laksa does not come with crab meat. Next time do give roxy laksa a try. They are at the lagoon hawker centre. They won the best laksa award last year for the Hawkers Masters competition.

SAHM,

i think it's the s'poreans who are supporting the m'sian economy, rather than vice versa.

nope, the pandas weren't in our agenda. thanks for the tip on roxy laksa.

happy vacation!

SAHM,

as long as the daughter is in S'pore, it will get my support.
