i think this image aptly portrays what my dear daughter is going thru. the can of soda, bar of chocolate & iPod are all frighteningly familiar.
yeah, she's even mentioned the "D" word.
doc in private practice venting steam....because life is more than just stethoscopes, syringes & getting woken up at unearthly hours.
“For the director of music. Of David. The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good.” (Psalm 14:1)

I just showed this to my girl... hope they are not as stressed...
Natasha,
really, even violin teachers?
Claire,
we all went thru this & still survived!
No wonder the amount of studying is never enough. Studying while listening to the ipod!
Ahh... so glad my studying days are a thing of the past. Come to think of it, 'studying' means cramming and memorizing stuff to regurgitate on the exam paper.
Hope things are better nowadays!
My studying routine was simple. First take a nap, then make a cup of Lipton, then study for a few hours.
Yvonne,
some people study better with music - don't know how or why.
Adino,
things will never be better as the pressure to perform well increases.
