With a heavy heart, both daughter and father penning in their signatures!
In the bible, King Solomon wrote that there is a season in our lives. So true it is. A time to love, a time to hate. A time to laugh, a time to cry ... etc, etc. God's timing is always right. Whatever we go through in life, whether happy or sad, there is a purpose....and though many a times we cannot understand but when we reflect back, we may one day understand
Congratulations to your daughter! Her efforts paid off.. she deserves what she has sow.. she must be really smart in her studies, getting a scholarship in singapore is no joke.. you have done a good job too!
Singapore also like that kah? I thought they're all so perfect, can do no wrong one! Anyway, all the best to your daughter! I hear the pressure there's really bad - all the kiasu people. May the good Lord bless her and keep her strong physically, emotionally and spiritually!

wahhh.. I feel so proud on your behalf. hehe!
Just wondering....how do you sign "in block letters"? Or is the parent supposed to write the name in block letters below the signature?
A BIG welcome to singapore for your daughter!! Which grade will she be in?

Jo,
thanks. we share the same feelings.
STP,
we figured that it was a printing mistake; "in block letters" should have been printed below the "name of father/mother" column.
after all, who's ever heard of signatures in block letters??
SAHM,
thanks. she will be in sec 3.
(i think despite having to leave home, she's secretly excited about exploring orchard rd with her friends!)
Just me,
thanks.
i asked her if she thinks this is God's path for her. she shared this verse with me:
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jer 29:11
Superman,
thanks. it's a start & she needs to complete the journey as well.
Ilene,
it's so coincidental that i mentioned those verses in the eulogy to my father.
with a lot more insight & discernment, we should be able to see the pieces falling into place.
still, God's mysteries will be revealed only when the time is right.
Claire,
thanks. this is only the beginning. now, she has to prove that she deserves the privilege of studying in s'pore.
congrats to u and ur family...
especially emma...
don worry.. she will do well there through His hands!
Mich,
thanks. yes, God's hands will uphold her!
congrats!!
Orchard Road? I'd stay away!! It sucks in all your cash if not careful, esp the newly opened orchard ION.
Las M,
THANKS for the tip. i've just changed my mind about giving my daughter a supplementary card!

Congratulation! And if she needs any assistance, let me know.
STP,
