& when the outspoken lone ranger, the only one currently with the courage to raise issues that matter, is unceremoniously dumped, again my gut feeling is that
whether it will go the same way as it's cousin in penang & be sidelined into irrelevance (or worse, oblivion) is left to be seen.
we all know gut feelings sometimes come true & i don't believe i am the only one in sack-cloth today.
PS. perhaps this phrase was specifically coined for politics : nice guys finish last.

Read the Sun this morning and actually i was amazed that he became the chairman.. as for me, pushing his personal problem aside, i had hope that he would win.. and he did... :)

a Muslim approached me and told me he was amazed this could happen in our country. he then compared him with Tok Guru. I have nothing against CSL nor do I hold him tainted by the scandal but his position is already compromised by a non too rosy perception from day one

to be fair, i'll see what the tainted one can achieve during this transition period. i still think the party is in transition because he appears to be a stop-gap measure - no one is ever going to believe he will be leading in the long term.
